#TBT Tribute: ADC Paper Expo
A look back on some of our favorite designs through the years.
by Lauren Festa
With just a few hours until the ADC Paper Expo, we thought we’d take a look back on some of our favorite poster and mailer designs that have been made especially for the occasion. We’ve got work from YG winners like Mikey Burton and Jessica Hische, even a way-back-play-back from Alexander Gelman, who designed a poster in 1999. It’s really cool to see the evolution through the years.
Letterpress. Engraving. Embossing. Foil stamping. Thermography. Offset. Lenticular. Coated. Uncoated. These are some terms you might hear while perusing the eclectic vendor tables at the ADC Paper Expo 2016.
Join us at the ADC Gallery to collect the latest paper samples, learn about innovative printing techniques, and most importantly, get re-inspired by the art and craft of print design.
Participating vendors include the very best in the business:
Aldine Speciality Printing, Appleton Coated Utopia, Circle Press, Direct Source Packaging, Domtar, Envelopes.com, Fort Orange Press, French Paper, Gilah Press & Design, Green Earth Enterprise, High Resolution, Kirkwood Printing, Legion Paper, Mohawk, Neenah Paper, Piggyback Letterpress, Precise Continental, Reich Paper, Rolland Inc., Sappi Fine Paper, Structural Graphics, Taylor Box Company, and Yupo Synthetic Paper.
This evening is open to working professionals only; however, students are invited to stop by the next day (May 27th) to pick up samples from 11am-3pm (while supplies last).
