Young Guns 9 winner Owen Gildersleeve’s stopframe animation for The Guardian has caused quite the stir. Teaming up with animator Lee Gould and photographer Ryan Hopkinson, Owen created stunning imagery for the opening lines to six novels. Each animation was hand-crafted by Owen using paper, old books, and fishing wire. YCN in London recently used the animation as a case study for creative design.
