Tomorrow Awards February 12, 2015
Garbergs takes “Road to Christmas” to TA victory
Agency allows people to track and engage in a street charity's actions in real time.
The ADC Tomorrow Awards deadline will soon be here! All entries must be submitted by Friday, February 20, leaving you less than two weeks to gather up your most game-changing technological and creative innovations and enter them.
One of the many unique things about the Tomorrow Awards is that the Monster Judges don’t just select the winners, they also explain what made those entries stand above all others. This way, we can all learn the lessons behind these trailblazing winners and employ those lessons in our own work.
It can often be difficult to know exactly what a charity does on a daily basis, but Swedish agency Garbergs took charitable engagement to a whole new level with “Nattjouren’s Road to Christmas”. Nattjouren is the night patrol for Stadsmission, a charity that helps the homeless on the streets of Stockholm. Garbergs created a portal where people could follow the night patrol in real time, helping real people with clothing, food and shelter each evening. Every morning, a film of the previous night’s activities could be seen, bringing even more reality to the charity’s mission.
