From the Desk of Will Bryant: Portfolio Site Tips

ADC Young Gun shares thoughts on how to best display your work

ADC Young Guns 11 winner Will Bryant has been thinking a lot lately about how to present his work online. The jury may still be out on whether a digital portfolio can completely replace a printed one, but it’s more important than ever for creatives to carefully construct the online presentation of their work.

Will recently took to his tumblr, Blogtown, USA, to collect his thoughts on what makes a great site, getting down to the details (“How many categories is too many categories?”) and sharing a rough outline of the changes he wants to make on his own site. The post is a goldmine for anyone looking to revamp their online presence.

“Making decisions is hard. Making decisions on how to best display your work is real hard.”

Will has a busy July planned: he’s Deejaying the closing party at ICON8 in Portland and speaking at Mama’s Sauce Summer School in Orlando. His new portfolio site is coming soon.

And speaking of new, Will and his wife welcomed their daughter Polly (bundled up, above) into the world 1 month ago today. Happy birthday, baby Polly!
