ADC Talks: Future of Tech Education featuring NewTechKids, Amsterdam

On Thursday, August 27th at 7pm in the Amsterdam Apple Store, join Deborah Carter and Marja-Ilona Koski, co-founders of NewTechKids and Pilar Quezzaire, one of their advisors, as they discuss how to bring technology, computer science and programming education to primary school aged children.

NewTechKids is a startup that has developed pedagogy and curricula that shifts kids from simply using technology to thinking like technologists: understanding how technology works, why it works, and how to think in order to fix problems and invent new solutions.

Deborah gave a TED talk earlier this year: Watch out, Silicon Valley. We’re coming for you!

See Marja-Ilona’s talk about her teaching methodology at a Sanoma Learning session earlier this year.
