On December 3rd at 7pm at the Apple Store, Amsterdam, join Daniel Gaspersz, winner of the Philips Innovation Award, along with John Argento from Detroit design brand Shinola and Margot van der Krogt, founder and editor of The Makers Amsterdam and host of Creative Mornings Amsterdam, as they share their insights on social enterprise and building a successful brand.
Daniel Gaspersz is an entrepreneur on a mission: He wants to build and grow ventures that take on humanity’s greatest challenges and push the world forward through social innovation. He was already passionate about this mission during his student time at the Erasmus University, where he co-founded an online mentoring platform that won the Philips Innovation Award in 2014. Now he’s realising this mission in the space industry, where he works closely with space pioneer Rick Tumlinson and former NASA employees to build the New Worlds Institute, a US-based organisation aimed at enabling humanity to thrive in space. He also is the founder of Hashtagmars.com, a global community of scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs dedicated to realizing human settlement on Mars. Daniel is also the founder of Awesome Foundation Amsterdam and an alumnus of ECE’s Student Entrepreneurs Excellence Program.
