Cutting the Mustard: Felicia Perretti’s “Condiments”
ADC Member snaps up sauces and spreads in vivid glory
New York and Philadelphia-based photographer and active ADC Member Felicia Perretti has always had a knack for capturing food in unusual ways. Last year she did a vibrant series of shots of iconic foods found in various cartoons. This time around, Felicia turns her lens towards the sauces, spreads and syrups that people use to kick their tasty treats up a notch. The end result? Her new ‘Condiments’ series.
“The idea behind this started with we me sourcing out the weirdest condiments in the world,” explains Felicia. She ultimately decided to photograph ones that had iconic branding that could easily be recognized. Throw in her love of working in highly saturated colors, and you’ve got a (mostly) delicious collection.
