Benita Raphan (YG2) recently directed (in collaboration with Johnnie Semerad of QuietMan) a short experimental film showcasing the work and life of Marshall Arisman for the ADC Hall of Fame Gala last Thursday night. The film gives a haunting portrayal of Arisman as an artist, all in under two minutes.

“Marshall Arisman was the first ‘real,’ Artist that I met in NYC,” said Benita. “So, in 2011, to be asked to make a film for his induction into the ADC Hall of Fame was a real honor. Anyone who knows anything about Marshall and his world-class reputation knows that everything he does, he does in an atypical fashion. This is as true a portrait of the Artist as I could have ever hoped to offer.”
