Sean Dougherty

I am a design-focused creative director / designer whose passion is to create stories for brands and products through animation, live action direction and interactive means. I enjoy discovering ways in which a story can connect with its user.

I first studied at the University of California, Irvine before graduating from Pasadena’s Art Center College of Design. I have created visual solutions for such recognized brands as Google, Nike, ESPN, Starbucks and Blue Cross Blue Shield. I have spoken at RE:DESIGN/UXD, AIGA Salt Lake City. I am an ADC Young Gun (Season 5); my work has been recognized by the Type Directors Club and AIGA. I recently was a juror for the ADC 94th Annual Awards. I enjoy teaching Graphic Design I & II at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
