Elizabeth Valleau

Native New Yorker Elizabeth Valleau has somehow gotten away with making a career out of being a trouble-maker. As a performance artist, creative director and entrepreneur, she’s parlayed a passion for art, attitude and commerce into a dynamic creative career. She consistently brings a unique voice to her work, and has bucked the trend of traditional career tracking, winning awards (Cannes, One Show, Clio, ADC) in such diverse categories as digital, experiential, product design and film direction. Her career stops range from Bad Boy to R/GA to Trollback, with notable work for Google, Nike, BBC and the United Nations.

As co-founder and CEO of the press-darling Empire Mayonnaise Company, she’s led the company from startup to international distribution. She keeps her avant-garde attitude sharp leading the electronic music group WOLVVES, and is an outspoken advocate for women’s issues in the industry, appearing on stages for She Says, Lady Boss, the 50/50 Initiative, Creative Social and more.
