ADC Tomorrow Awards is an international award show dedicated to discovering, showcasing and awarding creativity that pushes the boundaries of technological innovation. founded in 2010, the awards have quickly become a bellwether of change in the creative communications industries.
What makes the Tomorrow Awards unique among other awards and honors is that there are no categories. It’s “big idea” vs. “big idea”, where a tiny digital startup or creative entrepreneur shares space with some of the world’s biggest agencies and tech giants. Entries can consist of a single piece of new technology, or they can be fully integrated campaigns with hundreds of consumer touch points. But no matter how big or small, how complex or simple an entry is, in order to win the coveted Tomorrow Awards trophy, an entry must demonstrate a certain “Tomorrow factor”, a clear sense that it represents a new direction for the creative and technological industries to follow in the coming months and years.
Beyond the trophies and accolades bestowed upon the winners, the Tomorrow Awards seeks to educate the greater advertising, tech and design industries about new creative possibilities. To accomplish this, the judging of the Tomorrow Awards — led by industry leaders affectionately known as “Monster Judges” —is filmed and shared for the world to see. These videos don’t just show which incredible entries won one of the five coveted Tomorrow Awards trophies awarded annually, but they also explain exactly why they won, as well as the lessons the industry needs to take away from such forward-thinking work.
Like the ADC 94th Annual Awards, the five winners of ADC Tomorrow Awards 2015 will be honored at the ADC Festival of Advertising and design, held in April in beautiful Miami Beach.
