Melatan Riden

Director of Design, TBWA\Chiat\Day

As the Director of Design at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York, Melatan leads the origination and growth of the agency’s design capabilities, working closely with the creative and production departments to seamlessly integrate creative efforts aesthetically across all clients.

Prior to joining TBWA, Melatan worked in the fashion retail and luxury sector at Lipman, where she led integrated campaigns for Loft by Ann Taylor, among other brands. She also worked as Director of Design at Anomaly’s Toronto office, where she was responsible for the agency’s entire design output.

Throughout her career, Melatan has worked with influential global brands in auto, beverage, entertainment and fashion retail sectors including clients such as Aritzia, Bite Beauty, Marshalls, BMW Mini, Red Bull, Budweiser, McDonalds, H&M, NBC Universal and Sport Chek.

Before relocating to New York, Melatan was an active participant in the Canadian design community, volunteering her time between its professional organizations and academic programs. Her work has been recognized and awarded globally.
