Advertising Gold: Barton F. Graf 9000’s “Climate Name Change”

Renaming storms after climate change deniers brings in a Gold Cube

We are coming down to the wire! The ADC 94th Annual Awards Advertising category is this Monday, February 9. This will be your last chance for you to enter this prestigious category.

Now entering the ADC Annual Awards is one thing, but winning a a Cube is another. This week we will be showcasing ads that won Gold Cubes at the 93rd Annual Awards last year, in hopes that these recent winners will inspire you to add your name to the history books.

Speaking of adding names, New York’s Barton F. Graf 9000 has a list you don’t want your name on. “Climate Name Change” is their integrated campaign for 350 Action, which petitions hurricanes and other storms to be named after politicians who deny mankind’s effect on destructive weather patterns. This campaign won a Gold Cube at last year’s ADC awards.
