ADC Walks DUMBO Close-up: Stinkdigital

Award winning digital in the heart of DUMBO

We’re exactly one week away from ADC Walks: DUMBO, a neighborhood wide open house celebrating creative entrepreneurship. Next Thursday we will be traveling door-to-door in the DUMBO community, visiting a variety of businesses, from design studios to production companies to startups. We hope you’ll join us!

One of the most well known shops on the ADC Walks tour is Stinkdigital, an award-winning production agency consisting of interactive creatives, developers, animators, UX designers, interactive producers, content producers and directors. DUMBO is only one of their homes; they also have offices in London, Paris and Berlin.

We chatted with Executive Producer Alex Sturtevant a few questions about Stinkdigital.

Describe your work culture in 140 characters.

Creative technologists and tech-savvy creatives inspiring each other to make great work.

What can visitors expect when they visit your space?

A group of makers — designers, developers, filmmakers, animators – surrounded by digital toys, prototypes, sketches, messy whiteboards, dog-eared monographs, wearable devices, projectors, legos, cameras, duct tape, and probably a dog or two. And we’d love to talk to you about all of them.

Tell us something that people might not know about your business.

Our first project in 2009 won a Grand Prix at Cannes.

Don’t make a stink, just be sure to visit Stinkdigital during ADC Walks: DUMBO, November 6 from 7-9 PM.
