ADC Walks DUMBO Close-up: Small Planet

ADC's November open house crash lands on a mobile agency

Hey New York! ADC Walks: DUMBO, a neighborhood wide open house celebrating creative entrepreneurship, takes place next Thursday, November 6. We will be traveling door-to-door in the DUMBO community, visiting a variety of businesses, from design studios to production companies to startups. We hope you’ll join us!

One of the stops along the walk is Small Planet. a full service mobile agency that creates smartphone and tablet experiences for clients. Founded in 2009 in Brooklyn, Small Planet is made up of designers, developers, makers and thinkers dedicated to making apps. They help clients across all phases, from strategy and business objectives to design and development.

We asked Chief Experience Officer Fred Lee a few questions about Small Planet.

Describe your work culture in 140 characters.

We love #pizzafridays, riding our bikes, working in DUMBO, and making incredible apps for iOS and Android!

What can visitors expect when they visit your space?

You’ll get to meet our designers and developers, see how a few of our apps were made, enjoy some refreshments, and snap a photo in front of our Sol LeWitt wall.

Tell us something that people might not know about you business.

Everyone at Small Planet is a designer, in one sense or another. We all share responsibility for how a user ultimately experiences our work.

Be sure to visit Small Planet during ADC Walks: DUMBO, November 6 from 7-9 PM.
