ADC Walks DUMBO Close-up: Brooklyn United

Aptly named agency "like prize fighters with soft sides"

We are two days away from ADC Walks: DUMBO, a neighborhood wide open house celebrating creative entrepreneurship. On November 6, we will be traveling door-to-door in the DUMBO community, visiting a variety of businesses, from design studios to production companies to startups. We hope you’ll join us!

We couldn’t be going into Brooklyn without visiting Brooklyn United,  a culture-led, results-driven agency. Through work across digital marketing platforms and product development, they are said to deliver a wide array of strategic planning, ideation, design, and engineering services. Their heft client roster includes AT&T, Blue Man Group, Wellesley College, Gucci, the American Folk Art Museum, Samsung, the Associated Press, GiveDirectly, and the International Olympic Committee.

We spoke with Founding Partner Brian Lemond about Brooklyn United.

Describe your work culture in 140 characters.

We’re like prize fighters with soft sides. It’s all about answering the bell – take initiative, dive into challenges, support each other.

What can visitors expect when they visit your space?

A good conversation with unpretentious people who love what they do.

Tell us something that people might not know about your business.

We’re a genuinely results-oriented agency, meaning we are building a culture of testing everything – from best coffee to startup names and app UX.

Unite with us in Brooklyn during ADC Walks: DUMBO, November 6 from 7-9 PM.
