ADC Presents: Menno Kluin – YG6
To celebrate our ADC Young Guns 9 call for entries, the ADC is interviewing 10 past winners about how they got to where they are today.
Our ninth installment features Menno Kluin (YG6). Kluin joined DDB in March 2010 to work with Matt Eastwood. He is executive Creative Director, Head of Art and oversees the Launch Pad Program.
Kluin started his career at Saatchi & Saatchi NY, where he won every top international award for his creative work. Within his first 2 years in the business, Kluin was named “Most Awarded Art Director” in 2007 according to Creativity Magazine. That same year, Kluin contributed to Saatchi NY winning the coveted Agency of the Year at Cannes and Clios.
In 2010, while at Y&R, Kluin helped the agency become the most-awarded U.S. shop in Cannes and place 2nd for “Agency of the Year” at the Festival. Also that year, Y&R also was ranked in the top 5 “Most Awared Agencies” by Creativity magazine.
As a student, he was named “Dutch Talent of the Year,” “German Student of the Year,” “International Student Young Gun of the Year,” International Student of the Year” by Luerzers Archive, and a “Top-Five Graduate” by Adweek.
