ADC 93rd Annual Awards Winners, Part Two

Recognizing Motion, Interactive, and Broadcast Advertising

The ADC Festival of Art + Craft in Advertising and Design closed tonight with the second night celebration of the 93rd Annual Awards, highlighting the most outstanding work of the year in Motion, Interactive, and Broadcast Advertising. Hosted by Cindy Gallop and featuring a performance by conceptual artist Natasha Tsakos, the ceremony was the pinnacle of the Festival experience and an exceptional awards season at ADC.

24 Gold and 23 Silver Cubes were awarded in these categories, in addition to nine special Cubes and including the first Black Cube since 2011, for Best in Show (Advertising), which went to Forsman & Bodenfors for their “Live Test Series” for Volvo Trucks. Other distinctive Cubes included:

Designism: Creative Artists Agency for Chipotle Mexican Grill, “The Scarecrow”

Design Team of the Year: Dentsu, Inc.  with 9 Total Awards

Advertising Agency of the Year: Forsman & Bodenfors with 15 Total Awards and 5 Total Advertising Awards

Interactive Agency of the Year: Forsman & Bodenfors with 15 Total Awards and 9 Total Interactive Awards

Client of the Year: Volvo Trucks with 15 Total Awards

Production Company of the Year: Folke Film  with 15 Total Awards

Network of the Year: Leo Burnett Worldwide with 12 Total Awards

School of the Year: School of Visual Arts with 7 Total Awards

The Frank Gehry-designed New World Center was the ideal setting for this celebration of innovation and beauty, employing cutting-edge technology to present the awards and surrounding guests in the elegant splendor of its magnificent architecture.

The body of work honored tonight, and last night at the Bass Museum, truly demonstrates the dedication to craft that the ADC has championed since its birth in 1920 and will serve as the creative ideal of the ADC Annual Awards — until next year’s Awards!
