Otis D. Gibson leads the way at global innovation, advertising, and marketing services agency GERTRUDE, and GERTRUDE’s design, innovation, and digital branding division OZ MANUFACTURING COMPANY (OZ MFG. Co.), by drawing on over 20 years experience working in all facets of advertising and managing national and global budgets ranging from $250K – $250MM. Otis has been on the front lines delivering solutions and results for a diverse portfolio of top notch brands including AB InBev, Absolut Vodka, adidas, American Express, Asia Pacific Breweries, Champion USA, Coca-Cola, DIAGEO, Google, HP, Kellogg’s, Kraft, L.A. Gear, L’Oreal, Maker’s Mark, McDonald’s, Mead Johnson Nutrition, Microsoft, MillerCoors, MTV Networks, QVC, Singha Beer, Sunkist, Tiger Beer, Toyota, The U.S. Army, Virgin, and William Grant & Sons.
Before founding GERTRUDE and OZ MFG. Co., Otis worked at some of the most respected advertising agencies in the world in the US and Europe, including Interbrand, Leagas Delany, Leo Burnett, Mullen, and Quaker City Mercantile.
Otis serves as a member of the Ad Council, is a judge to numerous award shows worldwide, and an adjunct graduate professor. Otis studied at Pratt and The Cooper Union in New York, and at the Steinbeis School of Management + Innovation at Steinbeis-Hochschule-Berlin in Berlin, Tokyo, Shanghai, New York, and L.A.
